Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your enrolment in and access to the Tile Talk Limited online tiling course (the “Course”). By completing your purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
1. About the Course
The Course is delivered entirely online and is self-paced. Upon enrolment, you will receive 12 months of access to all course materials from the date of purchase. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable device and internet connection to access the content.
2. Enrolment and Payment
The Course fee is NZD $495 (inclusive of GST where applicable). Payment is required in full at the time of enrolment and is processed securely via Stripe. Enrolment is confirmed only once payment has been successfully received.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
A full refund will be issued only if you request cancellation before accessing any course materials. Once you have accessed the Course content, no refund will be available under any circumstances.
To request a refund, contact us at the email address below prior to accessing any content. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
4. Certification
Upon successful completion of the Course, you will be issued a formal certificate of completion. The certificate is awarded based on completion of all required course components as determined by Tile Talk Limited. Tile Talk Limited reserves the right to withhold certification where course requirements have not been met.
This Course is educational in nature. The certificate does not constitute a trade qualification, licence, or authorisation to perform tiling work in any professional or regulated capacity.
5. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
All course content, including videos, written materials, images, and resources, is the intellectual property of Tile Talk Limited and is protected by copyright law.
Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Course materials for your own personal learning only. You must not:
- Share, distribute, or provide access to course materials to any third party
- Copy, reproduce, or republish any content in any format
- Use course materials for any commercial purpose
- Upload or share content on any platform, social media, or otherwise
Breach of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
The Course is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Tile Talk Limited makes no representations or warranties that completion of the Course will result in any particular outcome, skill level, or employment result.
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Tile Talk Limited accepts no liability for any loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from your use of, or reliance on, the course materials. You are solely responsible for any practical application of skills or techniques learned through the Course.
7. Access and Technical Requirements
Access to the Course is provided via our online platform. You are responsible for supplying all tools, materials, and equipment referenced in the Course. Tile Talk Limited does not supply physical materials as part of enrolment.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the platform is available during your access period. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and accept no liability for downtime or technical issues outside our control.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and held in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. We use your information to administer your enrolment and communicate with you about the Course. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to deliver the Course or as required by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
10. Changes to Terms
Tile Talk Limited reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students. Continued access to the Course following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
