Tile Talk Training Course
Introduction to the Tile Talk Tiling training course
Tile Talk LTD has constructed a distance-learning wall & floor tiling course that will help develop and hone your skills. Whether you’re interested in becoming a competent tiler, building your own tiling business or just undertaking handyman work – this course will help you achieve your goals.
The Tile Talk Tiling course has been developed by experienced tilers over a period of 8 years. Hands-on experience and direction has been a crucial factor in making this course an effective and essential learning tool.
Floor and wall tiling can be very rewarding, and lucrative. Bathroom jobs are often quoted out at $5000 to $20,000 per job, and small tiling jobs are often priced out at $100 – $300 per square metre, with minimum-charge prices often used. Turning over $5000 per week, or more, is not unusual for an experienced tiler.
Our goal has been to provide our trainees with a floor and wall tiling course that is easy to follow and to understand. Although we focus on small tiling jobs, as your experience grows, the tiling trade can lead you to bigger and more complex tiling opportunities. As a result, we have developed a course that provides participants with information and advice to complement existing skills and experience. We believe our course will lead you to pathways for better business success and improved contracting opportunities.
If you are naturally cautious and meticulous, and take pride in your efforts, it’s only a matter of time before you become a proficient tiler. If you put in the time, your skills and knowledge will grow day by day, and before you know it you’ll have the confidence and experience to become a leading operator in your area.
The Tile Talk Tiling course is a distance learning, three-stage instructional series supported by information and advice, photos and instructions that are all vital to becoming a successful floor and wall tiling contractor or handyman in your district.
The layout – what’s involved?
-
The course is presented in three stages. -
We recommend you undertake the three stages of the course more than once to help with retaining the information contained within the tutorial. -
When the training course is completed, you may choose to source work, consider advertising and undertake small jobs for family and friends, slowly gaining confidence and experience, while progressing onto bigger and more complex jobs – should you choose to. -
You may choose to undertake the course for DIY purposes only, or to specialise in small jobs, or to specialise in kitchen splash-backs only. There’s no set rules on which path you take – you are in control of the work you choose to undertake and specialise in. Should you choose to become a tiling contractor or handyman, you will require a website for business. We can provide you with a customised, ready-to-use, tiling website. -
